We have been breeding and improving the quality of white Suri Alpacas at Samakien Alpacas on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland since March 1999.  With the use of quality Suri sires, such as ILR Donaire (25612), Pucara Allegro (22107), ILR Helado (25625), Pucara Kahuna (1366) ILR Danzante (29300) and now Surilana Orion (IAR 64024) – a direct offspring of the famous Surilana Icalon – Samakien Supernova (IAR 110731) – out of Surilana Orion - and Kurrawa Taboo ET (IAR 105083) the results are truly sensational. ILR Donaire IAR 25612 (DOB 31/08/1995)
Sired by the famous Benedicto, Donaire was one of a number of homozygous solid white males imported from the USA. He is a large-framed suri whose outstanding feature is his ability to pass on fineness and lustre to his progeny. He is the grandsire of numerous broad ribbon winners.
