We - Cristin & Graeme Smith - have been breeding suri alpacas on Queensland's Sunshine Coast since April 1999.

Our aim is to breed the:

solid white Suri Alpacas in the world.

At the Inaugural International Alpaca Fleece Show held in March 2008, one of our carefully bred young males - Samakien Supernova - was awarded Champion Suri Fleece 6-18 months and narrowly missed the Supreme Champion Suri Fleece prize... a pretty reasonable effort considering we owned less than 30 alpacas at the time! He went on to win Supreme Champion Suri Fleece at the 2008 National Show!!!

With the addition of genetics from homozygous Accoyo suri stud male Surilana Orion (sired by the famous Surilana Icalon), our aim is certainly close to being realised.
